Al Socio
Alsocio is an Panamanian marketplace app that matches freelance labor with local demand, allowing consumers to find professionals for daily tasks such as cleaning, handyman, etc.
Challenge
The pandemic struck companies and professionals in Panama. Unemployment was skyrocketed, and the economy was stumbling as several companies were closing down with families without any source of income and numerous competent professionals at home. Service Apps has a significant niche as Panamá City has a large ex-pat community that needs help with maintenance services.
Values
A consistent brand was developed by following the client's briefing, getting some art references (The Creation of Adam) as an abstract metaphor that providers and clients communicate through a click of a fingertip. The colors selected aims – Orange represents the professionals with determination, happiness, and success, – blue as the clients feel thrust, tranquility, and security to hire professionals through the app. I designed the logo, icons, and digital assets for its app, website, social media, and flyers. In this project, I was the Art Director and Project manager coordinating the dev team in India. The project was delayed for six months and delivered in 2 months. The App fully operating, and the omnichannel marketing strategy aligned with the brand voice supported its launch achieving over 10+ downloads in the 1st quarter.
